'The Lowest Place'
After October 7th, Daniel Tchetchik returned to the Dead Sea - a barren land, an alien sphere, that had also become a temporary refuge for displaced communities.
There, he created The Lowest Place.
The series suggests a metaphysical space: a place that can be both a home and a hell. It draws on the paradoxes of the Dead Sea, where boundaries - between desert and sea, day and darkness, the familiar and the uncanny - begin to dissolve.
